Hebe's first solo album. What to expect? Lots of ballads probably, but let's see.
The first track is an intro with a little indie feeling, prologue to the next song - To Hebe. To Hebe is a pretty ballad with guitars. And then 離島 comes which is also a ballad. Not that pretty but sure you can listen to that. On the other hand I liked 沒有管理員的公寓 better. Again, it reminded me of indie rhytms. Indie ballads, very beautiful. What 我對不起我 reminds me of? Old chinese ballads I guess but I dunno why. Her voice sounds very mature here and that's what makes this song wonderful. Or maybe it's those strings somewhere in the back? The chorus is repeated a bit too much in the end, but the song itself isn't that long so there's no time for boredom to come. But I start to get the feeling that something faster or pop rockish would be very much appreciated. Partly, she gives us this in 我想我不會愛你. Partly, coz only chorus has those wonderful guitars, but it's better than nothing. The chorus is just great. 寂寞寂寞就好 is another slow song you can hum. Also with soft guitars. I really like this song. 你太猖狂 - this time a song with acoustic guitar. 超級瑪麗 is probably the fastest song on this album. This is so Crowd Lu's style. I think he'd be proud of her ;P In the next song - there's a big surprise. I thought I've heard Yoga Lin and... it was him! His amazing voice can't fool me. I'm really happy to hear him! He makes every song sound special. Period. For the end - of course the first single - Love! A beautiful song that deserves it's fame.
Perfect album if you just want to relax and need something to play in the background. Surprisingly, even though it's full of ballads, I liked it.
