Jaycee Chan - Chaos (Compilation New + Old)

Doesn't he look like daddy? XD
Okay, so there's been a great release form Jaycee lately and here's his album. I heard his first album was a complete floop, but maybe it's also the fact that too little people have heard it? Anyways, here's a compilation of his first album, movie theme songs, some new songs and also his latest single, which is f*cking amazing and i can't stop listening and watching his new MV. Good move to promote his first album as well.
So let's begin coz we have a whole bunch of Jaycee here.
Album starts with Weird Me from his first album. I think it has kinda indie feeling. Acoustic guitar somewhere in the back and some drums, nothing else. I like it a lot. And 若無其事 is theme song for some movie I guess. Another thing I like, coz it's very catchy, it sticks in your head for long. And the next thing is like an interlude. You have to check out the MV for 忠! I'm in love with Jaycee here, his acting, whole action and main idea, the song, guitars, everything! Strong, with great lyrics and unexpected ending. And next is really nice ballad 累. I think it's very pretty and touching. As long as we're in Asia we have at least one ballad on album, so it was obvious this album will have some. But no complaints, bcoz 假動作 isn't bad. Especially after the first half, when guitar is added and he lifts his voice up. I really like when Asians born outside Asia artists sing in English or another language. Nice to Meet You is his English song. It's good to finally understand almost everything. Almost, coz there're some parts in Mandarin. But when you sing in Mandarin and English, your voice changes a lot because of accents and tones, so now you can adore his voice in English. Really good song, even though its title was pointing at something weird. 我的肝 is weaker than songs till now. I don't know why, it is just like that. After half of it goes completely freaky, some rap, then some girl sings, weird background... lol. And duo with Serene Koong in 最好的我. I like their voices together. And English parts too! Half of the album behind us. There's a lot really, but his first album featured 23 tracks! So on to the next one - 兩個人. A ballad and... another indie feeling? It feels indie for me. 知己 is another ballad. Unfortunately kinda boring for me. 一路好走 (中版) is the first version, the second one will be later. I have a very mixed feeling about this one. I don't know whether I like it a lot or less. I gotta listen to it a few times more, but at least I know it's not like I don't like it at all. On the other hand I like 別放棄. It has a nice rhythm and even though it's another ballad, it sounds good. I wonder why the first album was said to be bad anyways? I don't see any rational reason till now. Remember Nice To Meet You? Here's a Mandarin version of that - 下次再見 and sounds as good as the English one. Only four more tracks left. And there goes another song that I have mixed feelings about - 不知不覺. I just don't know what to think. It looks like we started the ballads part, coz there're gonna be only ballads till the end. Too bad actually. But since ballads are not my cup of tea, and there're three left, I leave this for you.
I hope this compilation will help Jaycee gain more fans, he's worth it!
