Kelly Cha - The Last Raio Show

Hm, out of my endless laziness I won't do a review today but I'm gonna say a few words instead. Chinese-American radio host (mostly, she also does host TV shows and writes books and oh so many things) debuted with her first album in China.
The Last Radio Show mesmerized me. I haven't heard anything indiepop for a while and when I first heard Kelly's voice I was amazed. Wonderful and strong voice plus great music. From first to last.
One of my favorites is the titular song as well as Bored.

She wants to record an English album after this one - and I'm definitely looking forward to that. I'm sure it will be full of poetic lyrics and beautiful melodies.

Fricking recommendable.

Fang Cao - Sing a song such as sunset

Here's Fang Cao's newest album! I missed her a little :P
I'm not sure if you're familiar with Cao's music. She does indie pop, acoustic, alternative and mainstream. All mixed together. I like her a lot. She has a nice voice too. She reminds me of Cheer Chen but with not so childish voice as Chen's.
The album starts with a beautiful song entitled 觉醒. It something like Tanya Chua's style. There's guitar in the back and her great voice. I think it's my favorite song. 我是认真的 is nice too! All acoustic. 快乐颂 gives us little faster, catchy rhythm. I just love 門 . It's soooo Deserts Chang's style! Kay, I know I give you a lots of names today, but Cao's like a mix of all of them. Seriously. That's why I like her, I guess... Actually all her songs are made mostly in one style - acoustic ballads, sometimes little faster, sometimes more mellow and melancholic, but always pleasant. Sometimes they're supported with guitar.
I really enjoyed the album. Recommended for indie lovers and fans of Deserts Chang, Cheer Chen and Tanya Chua :P

Tizzy Bac - Don't Change EP

Here's Tizzy Bac's newest EP. I'm not a big fan, I must confess. But they do have some songs that are simply amazing and you can't ignore it, let's say Precisely Tennessee for example. A beautiful one.

Their new EP contains only three songs. One in Mandarin, rest in English. Pretty good, I liked it a lot. Slow Ride is a long song (over 10 minutes!) and the title says for itself - it's slow, but in one moment it gets faster. Some jazzy rhytms I think. Whole in English, same as How About. Recommended for fans.

Milk@Coffee - More Grown Up, More Lonely

Milk@Coffee is an indie pop duo from China. But don't get confused with that pop. Their music is much more than just pop. You'll find here rock'n'rollish song 我不是Rock'n'Roll, which will make you happy everytime you hear it, beautiful ballads like for example 穿越珊瑚海 that is my favorite and some faster, nice songs. I loved this album from the very first listening and now I'm awaiting next issue from milk@coffee.
