You have no idea how I missed something rockish in chinese music lately. I've been waiting for Y2J's new album and finally here it is.
Doesn't Yuming look pretty good in those hair on the cover? Not to mention Jane.
As expected 崩裂前声嘶力竭 is a great song supported by Jane Huang's voice in chorus and Yuming Lai's in verses. They both have amazing voices that fits their music perfectly. I love the ending when Yuming's screaming. Oh, pure love. Same as the titular track 守护者! Now, let's listen to some rock ballad - 好想为你哭. I love rock ballads and so I love this song. In 宽恕 Jane finally has something more to say, I mean, to sing. It should have more rockish sound though, coz now it's only a ballad with a very little guitar somewhere. But don't ya worry that you'll fall asleep, here goes something faster - 转泪点. Yup, good stuff~! That's entirely Yuming's song. And now something from Jane - 跟我一起怪. I like it's rhythm, very optimistic. And the chorus is also very good. And to 信徒 another ballad. I'm afraid the next 耶路撒冷 is a ballad too. Also, the beginning of 扞卫真爱 points at ballad but it changes later somewhere about 2nd minute. Finally, coz I really started to get sleepy. I liked the second half of the song. Let's end with Q & A + 亲爱的是我 (Demo版) and leave with very happy feelings even though on the end of this demo we have... a ballad. Surprise, surprise, it's a hidden track.
