Don't expect any objective opinion coz Leehom is my all time favorite chinese actor/singer/producer/whatever. I love the guy.
I've waited for this album~! I remember when a year ago I played his Heart.Beat album and saw his collaboration with Jane Zhang I thought I'm in heaven. When there were rumors of his new album coming up this year I was in that heaven again.
What I love about Leehom is that this guy is so amazing, he can do every genre of music and feels comfortable with it. And he does it great. His every album is different. You won't see any connections there. For example Heart.Beat was a fabulous mix of ballads and rock songs. And now? Is there something Leehom haven't tried yet?
Actually... there is! Have you ever seen Leehom doin' dance? He did rock, pop, rnb but never dance. Not the dance we experience nowadays. When my player played 杜 U ♥ Me I thought that some boyband is playing and my player got something wrong. But it didn't. 杜 U ♥ Me is fricking amazing! I was completely shocked coz I'd never ever expect that of Leehom. And there is something about his songs. The truth is that you listen to all those dance songs now but in five years it will be not cool anymore and you probably won't play it again. And there goes Leehom and you will play his albums from ten years back with absolute pleasure. For me his absolute timeless hits are amazing Ai Ni Deng Yu Ai Zi Ji and Julia. I'm sure I will play this song in few years with the same pleasure I feel now. But before that we can listen to short Dragon Dance which is nothing more but a weird intro. The titular song - 十八般武艺. As expected of Leehom classical chinese instruments come in. His chinked-out style hits again. Oh in case you don't know yet - I love Leehom's ballads so it's only natural I love 你不知道的事. Only after five songs I already know that every song is different. 伯牙绝弦 is completely different than those four before. It's hard to describe, you gotta check it yourself, but it sure is good! And new. Leehom shows his different side on this album. I love that! If I remember correct 柴米油盐酱醋茶 was the first song that leaked out. I don't know, I'm still not sure about this song. When I've heard it for the first time I didn't feel anything at all. No excitement. I gotta give it a hundred more plays. I'm sure there is something about this song but I don't know what yet. Okay, 美* is so... k-popish lol ;D But very mei (chin. "beautiful"). 需要人陪 is a very slow ballad. And another ballad with a very beautiful piano and guitar - 天涯海角. And wonderful 你不知道的事 (宋晓青版本). It's such a beautiful song! And closing the album - 自己人. Very positive and pretty song.
Thank you Leehom, you always make my day. Or night.

Edit: I can't stop listening to 杜 U ♥ Me. I think it's the best song on this album but it's also one of the best songs Leehom's ever made.

srsly. according to law you can have illegal mp3s for 24 hrs on your hdd. then you must delete it. so why they keep deleting it? i bought that fricking album dammit, they already have my money. they don't understand that WE BUY after CHECKING IF IT'S WORTH TO SPEND MONEY ON it?
