Karen Mok - Precious

This album is a really big surprise to me. When I looked thru chinese sites it was already there with release date close to the end of this month. But I checked Karen's official site and her two blogs, there was not even a word about new album. So I though that it must be some prank and looked thru her discography but found nothing even close to this tracklist. So I assume it must be a new album. No other way.
I'm a big fan of Karen, so I'm really happy to see new stuff from her.
Especially when I enjoyed the album.

寶貝is a beautiful and soft song followed by Good Bye - pretty ballad with a guitar in the back. 獨一無二 starts like some old songs form 80s, but then goes modern... too bad xD Coz I'm really curious what it would look like. But the song is very nice. And it has kinda 80s feeling. The beginning of 執子之手 reminds me of one Eason Chan's ballads. But only the beginning, coz then it's typical, wonderful Karen. 洗澡時唱的歌 is another ballad with a mellow melody and relaxing voice. But then Karen gives us 飲食男女 with more lively rhythm and guitar. Then again, back to ballads with 完美孤獨 and 艾美麗愛美麗. But when 耳朵要解渴 comes you can hear some rockish sounds. And as the ending - 沒有圍牆的世界. I'm loving it.
It never happened that Karen would disappoint me. It didn't happen this time either. I'm glad she's back. This album can be counted as another wonderful thing added to Karen's collection.
