Finally!!! Gloria Tang, 18-year old singer from Hong Kong finally released her first full-length album. This is her late birthday gift. I love her voice and I'm a total fan of her. I was waiting for it so long.
All About You was her first single promoting this album. And then Game Over came. I loved it from the start, couldn't stop listen to it. It's so catchy! The next track 想講你知 is one of my favorites. I'm sure chorus will be in my head for the whole week :P A.I.N.Y and Mascara are ballads. Quite nice but the most important, they're in Mandarin! A.I.N.Y stands for Although I Need You and it's a beautiful song. I love it more the more I listen to it. 我不懂愛 is also in Mandarin. I like it. 塞納河 is a ballad, but some other kind. I love the guitar and strings in the background. The only song I don't really get is G.E.M. (Get Everybody Moving). It's weird, clubbing song. Not bad though, but so different than the whole album. Gets much better after few hearings. Uhm, and 18 is kinda boring. Too bad, I hoped for something nice as for the title song. And as a bonus two remixes for Where Did You Go and Mascara. I'm totally lovin' the first one.
So the album is a continuation of her previous EPs. No drastic changes in style. I'm glad she sings half of songs in Mandarin.

Avril gra punk rocka. miała tylko podobny motyw w jednej piosence dlatego mi się skojarzyło. a w ogóle byłem jej mega fanem kiedyś... ciągle bardzo lubię jej muzyke ;]
Uhm... punk pop rock, to może... Bo punk rock, taki rasowy to raczej Sex Pistols :P Jest rónica :D
Osobiście lubię jej dwa pierwsze albumy. Niezapomniany sk8ter boi i inne takie. Cudo <3
fakt, nie bez powodu Avril określa się mianem punk-pop princess :P ale czy słusznie mówi się, że Avril gra punk rocka - to chyba temat na dłuższą dyskusję o charakterze akademickim, więc wole zostawić to w spokoju :D
anyways, no ba - pierwsze dwa albumy są świetne, i trzeci także bardzo mi się podobał, mimo iż jest różowy (dosłownie i w przenośni) ;D
btw. z albumu GEM najczęściej słucham teraz "18"
